Connect Sessionario to Perplexity

Two details, one sign-in. You do this once – after that Perplexity knows your sessions in every new conversation.

Honest up front We have not walked through this guide ourselves – we do not have a Perplexity Pro account. For Claude, ChatGPT and Grok we repeated and photographed every step; here we follow Perplexity’s own help pages. What is needed from our side is correct; what the menus there are called right now may differ.

What you need A Sessionario account and a Perplexity account with Pro. Custom connections are reserved for the paid plan: on Free you can see the connector list, but there is no way to add anything of your own. We checked this on 10 September 2026.

Open the connector settings in Perplexity

Click the gear at the top right, then Account settings → Connectors. There, at the top right, click + Custom connector and choose Remote in the dialog. If the button is missing, your account is still on Free – custom connections start with Pro.

It is easiest with two windows side by side: this guide on the left, your AI on the right.

Enter Sessionario

Two fields in the dialog matter: Name and MCP Server URL. Do not search the list of ready-made connections – Sessionario is not in it; it is entered by hand.

Transport: Streamable HTTP. Authentication: choose OAuth 2.0 and leave client ID and secret empty. Our server registers the access itself; authorisation URL, token URL and scopes it publishes on its own too. Then tick the box at the bottom and click Add.

Should Perplexity insist on a client ID, this is where it stops – please drop us a line then. It is the one point we are still in the dark about.

Copy the address from here – a typo is the most common reason it does not work. And no trailing slash.

Sign in to Sessionario

Now our sign-in window appears. The address bar says mcp.sessionario.com – that is how you know your password stays with us and does not reach the AI. Sign in with the Sessionario account your sessions live in.

Read the box once It says exactly what the AI may do – and what it may not. Three promises are in there, and they hold: colleagues’ sessions are never changed, a snapshot you can restore is saved before every change, and nothing is ever deleted.

Try it

Ask your AI something it can only know once the connection is live:

“Which sessions do I have in Sessionario?”
“Show me day 1 of my next session.”
“Where are the breaks too tight in my two-day workshop?”
