Of the three routes this is the shortest: open one page, fill in two fields, sign in. No developer mode, no admin approval, no setting to hunt for.
It works best with two windows side by side: this guide on the left, Grok on the right. Do a step, glance back here, do the next one.
In your browser, go to:
grok.com/connectors
In the Grok app you'll find the same page under settings. Top right: New Connector (German: „Neuer Konnektor").
A window opens with a search field and a list. Take the topmost entry: Custom (German: „Benutzerdefiniert").
Don't search, and don't take a ready-made entry from the catalogue – Sessionario isn't listed there yet.
Two fields, that's all:
Name:
Sessionario
Server URL:
https://mcp.sessionario.com
No trailing slash. Then click Add connector (German: „Connector hinzufügen").
Copy the address from here – a typo is the most common reason this doesn't work.
If Grok asks for more – authorization URL, token URL, scopes: you don't need any of it. Our server publishes all of that itself, and Grok reads it.
Now the green sign-in page appears – our page. That's how you know your password stays with us and never reaches Grok. Sign in with the Sessionario account your sessions live in.
mcp.sessionario.com – that's how you know
it really is our page.Sessionario then sits in your connector list. If Grok offers to ask before write actions – leave it that way.
In a new conversation – the one you were just in doesn't know about the connection yet:
The thinking is paid for by your Grok plan – Sessionario doesn't use up any credit for it.
Four things tend to go wrong – all four are quick to fix.
There's no “Custom” option.
Custom connectors aren't visible on every plan. In company workspaces an admin often has to
create the connector in the xAI console first.
Connecting does nothing.
Try another browser, or the Grok app. And check the address: no trailing slash.
Grok can't find my sessions.
Check that you signed in with the same Sessionario account the sessions live in. Archived
sessions are invisible to the AI. And start a new conversation.
I want to disconnect.
On grok.com/connectors, disconnect or delete the entry. Grok then has no access
at all. Nothing changes in your sessions.
Same address, different menu. To the Claude guide · To the ChatGPT guide
Grok and the other AI providers change their menus constantly – often without notice. Everything on this page we clicked through ourselves on 1 September 2026. If your screen looks different, that is almost always why.
Two clicks help us more than any guess:
